30” x 40” - Silkscreen Ink and Acrylic on Wood

What happens if you try to catch two rabbits? You catch zero.

An abstract experiment in texture and shapes - the stark contrast in Two Rabbits speaks to the flurry of the hunt. The wood panel was first coated in white acrylic and screen printing ink. Next, a layer of screen printed black ink was applied along with wild pours and splatters of paint. The paint was then smeared and chipped away to reveal the finished piece.
