30” x 40” - Enamel on Wood

The male body stands nude, hands crossed in front. The crop leaves the body anonymous, as a beast caught to be sold. 
The painting began with a photoshoot with nude model coated in white paint to texture the skin. After capturing this image in a photo, it was transferred it to a halftone pattern, printed and hand-burned it into a silk screen emulsion. After silkscreening enamel to the wood by hand, it was finished with several intricate details and splashes in black and white enamel.
