40” x 30” - Enamel on Wood

The long hunt rises to a climatic finish. Sweat and fury drip to floor. All that is left in the moment is to pull the trigger.
The painting began with a photoshoot with nude model coated in white paint to texture the skin. After capturing this image in a photo, it was transferred it to a halftone pattern, printed and hand-burned it into a silk screen emulsion. After silkscreening enamel to the wood by hand, it was finished with several intricate details and splashes in black and white enamel.
